April 26th, 2025 – you can enjoy the splendor of the high Cascades while testing your limits at the 2025 Cascade Crest Nordic Ski Race & Tour. This is a special event that takes participants on a network of trails with some sections groomed only for this event each year.

The Cascade Crest Ski Race & Tour has 4 possible distances for participants.

50k SELF REPORTED freestyle skate (two laps of the 25k course) (open to athletes 18 yrs+)
25k freestyle skate (open to athletes 16 yrs+)
12.5 k freestyle skate (open to athletes 13 yrs+)
5k Kids (12 and Under) race

Scenic & Unique Courses

The 50k race is an adventure of epic proportions that takes two laps over the 25k course; through the Mt Bachelor trail system, out to the Todd Lake road, and back up into Dutchman Meadow. The 25k race takes only one lap of the 50 k course, the 12.5k event shares a portion of the 25k loop and the 5k course that takes a short loop through the beautiful Dutchman Meadow with panoramic views of both Mt. Bachelor and Tumalo Mountain.
