The Mini World Cup program offers fun and excitement for junior skiers.
The program provides coaching by a professional staff and is recommended for young skiers grade 2+, age 7-14, who are comfortable skiing intermediate and/or advanced terrain. USSA age classification U10, U12, U14, 1st year U16.
Training options are 1 day (Saturday), 2 day (Saturday and either Sunday morning or Wednesday afternoon), or 3 days per week (Saturday, Sunday morning, and Wednesday afternoon).
Midweek athletes should be 2nd year in MBSEF, athletes are expected to lap around and ride the lift without their coach. Younger athletes must have coach approval for midweek training.
Athletes are grouped by age and ability to ensure a challenging, yet positive experience.
Ski camps scheduled during Winter and Spring breaks at Mt. Bachelor are included in the program fee.
New athletes to the MWC program send New Member Questionnaire form to mbsef@mbsef.org by October 1.

This program is designed for USSS members age 13-22 who want more training and competition options. USSS age classification U14, U16, U19, U21. Two, three and four day training is offered and scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesday and/or Thursday afternoons for the three and four day option. Early release from your school for Wednesday and Thursday must be coordinated on your own. The three and four day option particularly benefits those racers looking to intensify their training and those considering the Alpine Team Full Time Program in the future. Athletes and coaches travel to selected PNW Open, Junior Olympic Qualifiers and Northwest Cup events. Ski camps scheduled during Winter and Spring breaks at Mt. Bachelor are included in the program fee.

MBSEF is able to offer van transportation from our training facility in Bend to Mt. Bachelor and back for some programs.
Alpine Full Time and Winter Term programs have van transportation available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Our nationally recognized full time alpine program (age 13-21, High School) is designed for athlete participation in USSS and FIS events. Juniors compete in the Northwest Cup series, Junior Olympic qualifiers and Western Region FIS events. Full-time athletes benefit from the expertise of MBSEF’s USSCA certified staff. Coaches coordinate five to six days per week of on-snow and dryland training aimed at developing each athlete to their fullest potential. Our staff aids in the selection and maintenance of equipment and helps athletes manage their race starts and travel schedules. MBSEF staff travel to divisional, regional and national races providing race support to ensure top performance. Many of the athletes have enjoyed success at the regional and national levels. In addition, the MBSEF Alpine Team has had many athletes named to the US Ski Team and awarded college scholarships at NCAA schools. Full-time training is offered to USSA experienced athletes in high school.

Our nationally recognized alpine programs are designed for athlete participation in USSA and FIS events. The Summer Training Program is designed for members age 13+ who want more training and to stay active over the summer. Younger athletes must have coach approval. Physical fitness is the foundation of elite skiing performance. The U.S. Ski Team’s success rate is directly related to their strength training regiment. Fatigue plays a major role in not only performance, but in causing injury. Summer Training will keep you strong and fit, and ready for the upcoming ski season.

Alpine Masters training runs Monday, November 18, 2024 thru Saturday, April 19, 2025. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, 9:00 am to noon. Saturday mornings added mid-March.
